exponential graph definitely. Dogzer might be right on with that formula.

Yup, exponential.
But y = x^4 gives you a parabola, where it curves up on both the positive and negative sides.

It's closer to y = 2^x , but that gives you a steep graph, which doesn't start at 0

Use y = m^n + o, where y is the graph, m is where it starts, and n is how slowly it starts to curve up. o moves the graph up and down.

I could give you a more exact formula if you're trying to do something specific

I was about to suggest that you call in Muz. You should set your custom rating as "Math genius", Muz.

Thanks, Muz! That info will come in handy, as soon as I figure out what it was I wanted it for.

Every RPG maker needs to know exponentials inside out, just like every platform game maker should know movement physics, and anyone who wants accurate shooting should know basic trigonometry. It helps a lot

I've got 7 of those exponential formulas in my game, at this moment. Plenty more coming soon, but most of them are pretty much the same thing, just with the values changed

It could be an adaption of x = 1/y

Looks like x = (-1/y)+10 or something
